Why We Love Re’equil Oxybenzone & OMC Free Sunscreen

A broad-spectrum, low penetration sunscreen that protects oily skin without leaving any white cast.

WHAT WE TRIED

Finding the right sunscreen, especially if you have oily or acne-prone skin is always a challenge. You want something that protects your skin without looking like a white mask or clogging your pores. That is why we picked up Re’equil Oxybenzone & OMC Free Sunscreen. We used it for over 8 weeks to see the results.

WHAT IS IT

It is a broad-spectrum sunscreen with high coverage of SPF 50 with PA +++. It contains olive leaf extract that helps to fight acne and brightens dull skin. It does not have Oxybenzone and Octyl methoxycinnamate (OMC) – two most common active ingredients used in sunscreens that can penetrate into the skin triggering irritation and allergic reaction. The formulation is safe for you and for the planet, as the actives are coral reef safe.

WHAT WE LIKED & WHAT WE DIDN’T

BENEFITS: It is a low penetrate lotion means our skin is less likely to get plagued by breakouts as it will not clog the pores.

TEXTURE: Great formulation with lotion consistency that spreads well on to the skin. Ultra light, non-sticky and non-greasy.

APPLICATION: Blends evenly when massaged in thoroughly. Does not leave a white cast or streaky finish. Gives skin a dewy feel.

PROTECTION: Protect skin from the UV rays for up to 6 hours with a single application.

FRAGRANCE: The only downside of this product is the distinctive smell it has. We felt it to be very strong.
